I enjoyed my regular customers and some of my co workers but when management allows the kitchen staff to run things it causes problems. I liked my set schedule.

Dreadful

What is the best part of working at the company?Worst company I ever worked for it so small you can barely get around in the kitchen. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not enough space to move around in its like a dog cage.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?A hazard. Seems like they just built a building to make money.

Victoria location is terrible

No room for advancement, bad clientele, low money, management not held accountable for their actions, they seriously made me work the day after I fractured my face(couldn’t see out of one eye) and then fired me for not returning to work quick enough after getting a doctors note.

Fun

Management was good, coworkers are helpful, busy, long shifts. The restaurant was in Colorado and the customers were great. I truly enjoyed working here.

Good place to work

Chilis’s allowed for flexible scheduling and has understanding management, as long as you do the job you’re supposed to do. It is a low stress, very easy job.

Not the best place to work

Coworkers are the only decent thing about the job. Was required to tip out positions we legally shouldn’t. Managers don’t help when they need to and if tables were to ask for manager you could either never find one to go or they refused to go and told you to tell the table what they said.

Managers didn’t like how I was trained

It started off great, while training I had the best trainer and she and I were able to complete the prep list on time. It wasn’t till after training I was told I had to complete the list by my self daily, it was a lot of work load for the pay and not worth it. My trainer taught me the “shortcut” way to doing tasks so It will be done in a timely manner but the managers didn’t like this when It came time for me to go solo. After a while it just got frustrating because I was doing everything “wrong” when In reality that’s just how I was taught to do my job. Eventually I could see that the GM did not want me there anymore so I just put my 2 weeks in. Don’t work at a place that doesn’t want you there, even tho you did everything the way you were taught.

Fast paced workplace with a dysfunctional family.

ehhh, it was great in the beginning

when i first started working here i loved it! money is definitely in the night time, the only people who come to eat during the day are elderly people who nag a lot and mothers who take their children out of school & don’t believe in tipping their waiters apparently. management is childish and often stubborn, but it’s okay.

Good place to work

Seems to be a cool place and excited to work there. I want to be a chef so it seems alike a great place to get my foot in the door. Plan to use all the information learned moving forward

fun work environment

I enjoyed working here, lots of great coworkers you can form real relationships with. fast paced environment, shifts go by quick and usually make good money.Some days can be much busier than expected

Not the best company to work for

If you’re thinking about doing it, don’t. It’s not worth it. The company acts like they are the best. But they don’t care about you nor your mental health. Oh and if you want to be there for over 10 hours with no break just go ahead and apply I guess 😂

It was okay

It’s okay. Money can be good if you’re the only bartender at night but morning shifts are terrible during the week. I do like that the food runners also make your n/a drinks and buss you tables so I actually don’t mind tipping them out. They make your life so much easier.

It's alright

Honestly very high pay for a job with no experience required. Depending on which position you work in, you may not have to deal with many customers. Employees are nice and you can get free food as well as a 50% off card once you work there for 3 months. Cons are that customers are rude and management can be harsh at times. You are not professionally trained and after a week, you are thrown into the fray and expected to know a lot. Occasonal unprofessional behavior from management, such as putting employees on for times they know that employee won't be available as well as firing on the spot without warning or notice. Otherwise a good first job.

I love working at the airport

Best job ever, work life balance, enjoyed coming to work. Management was a bit crazy in the beginning but as time went on we all worked together like a team

Amazing place great vibe it’s fun

Great place to be and grow. Love the atmosphere love the vibe love the chili heads it’s like a family . Management works well together Work place culture and work life balance there is amazing

Very busy

What is the best part of working at the company?Horrible job and the executive manager is not a nice person! Dishwasher is not recommended to be hired if you are fully educated! Lazy management

The managers stay in the office or stand on the line, but they don’t lift a finger and they gossip about other employees to their staff members which makes for an even more toxic workplace environment.

Productive work environment; Competitive hourly-staff wages; friendly co-workers; hard-working BUT non-empathetic Management.

Former Prep Chef; recently released via UNRULY ULTIMATUM; excellent Kitchen and Service Staff with hard-working albeit non-empathetic Managers. Overall (AT ITS CURRENT LEVEL) a 4.5/10 to work for; and that rating is SOLELY due to Hourly-Staff Wage Rate, and fellow Co-workers overall performance, personalities, and Willingness to execute a true and proper 'Teamwork makes the Dream work' and 'I'll give my blood, sweat, and tears to help make this place always ebb and flo 100%; but never my last breath!' kinds of POSITIVE Work Mentalities.As a Former Prep Chef (On-Site, 20+ years in the Restaurant Industry total) for as busy as this specific location is, running 1-2 Prep Chefs Friday through Sunday AND typically 1 Prep Chef MAXIMUM Monday through Thursday IS NOT plausible when you 'schedule one from 8a.m. until 3p.m.' YET inform them 30 minutes to their LEGALLY MARKED SHIFT END that "that's just for store alloted payable shift hours and not a practical proper shift-end time for Storewide Prep, for that evening and the following (hopefully still enough ingredients prepped for, hah...*sarcastic retort*...) afternoon/evening; given the Store doesn't open/begin service UNTIL 11a.m. as it is; to leave for the day even if they have exceedingly important obligations (MADE MONTHS/YEARS in advance AND INFORMED OF PRIOR TO OFFICIAL HIRING) and absolutely CANNOT miss said obligations; and /should/ be able to easily work until 6-8p.m. EVERY scheduled shift NO MATTER WHAT. Personally; loved every clocked-in moment EXCEPT for that specific hour-long ultimatum and saddening-finally made self-choice -

It can be really great or really awful it all depends on location

The 3 for me does bring in a lot of people, but most of the time they are not the people you want to wait on. The presto does recommend 18,20,&22% tips on credit cards but 20% of $11 is nothing!! The new food runner thing has not been implemented the way the company promised us. Runners can be helpful but having to pay 4-5% of your sales to them can really affect your income especially on slower times. Bartenders pay 4% servers 5%. The money is taken out of our tips before we even see the money. You never know until tips are loaded on your card the next morning how much of your money you get. Overall not a bad place to work but don’t know if I would stay this long if I had it to do over
