The commission structure makes you very competitive with the other workers since it's a bad one. Management was like a little clique no one was allowed into. Overall decent job. Customers were alright.

Slave drivers, all management cares only about self preservation period

I learned if you work hard and are reliable you’ll be taken advantage of and as soon as you voice your value your days are numbered. They will do everything in their power to not only keep your pay from raising but even lower it through “revised pay plans”

Horrible place to work

Union leadership only concerned about the good of the company. Salary leadership will treat you like a robot. You never know what your job will be on the daily. Work/life balance means spending your life at work. Don't work at Harley.

Not a great work environment and not good pay for the amount of hours they require you to be there

On phones doing cold calls. Learned about the industry. I had 1 mgr that lasted the year and 7 came and went. The last mgr was fired a week before I left the company. The owner is a jerk. We were told if he came in to hold your head down and don’t even say hello to him or he would fire you. You are not allowed to speak to other employees customers no matter what. If they speak to you they just want you to keep walking. That’s not a good environment for a customer. Customer service is preached but not allowed. Don’t learn people you work with names because 90% of them will quit or get fired. The hardest part of the job is the turnover and sneaky people trying to screw you over at every turn. The most enjoyable part of the job is the awesome customers that you meet from all over the world and the HOG chapter. They are a group of amazing riders…… that sums it up.

Lots of different types of forklifts to operate and learn.

Wow I can't speak for the pickers cause that's just a whole different type of work but as an order picker on an order picker 4 cliff truck it's hard work standing up all day.Being harnessed to the forklift and having to wear a harness throughout the day. Some of the material can be heavy but most of it is pretty clean and lightweight. Certain races that will not being named have a stronghold on that company so Americans can cut I just come in temporarily do the very hard work and leave.

Your better off working at McDonald's

You have a minimum call requirement for the week to cold call 150 people or more who everyone has already stomped on and hate getting your calls. You also need to send 25 text and 50 emails out. You need to great everyone and they hate when you great them because they think you're trying to sale them something. You will Learn alot about motorcycles. The work culture can be related to that of a cult. You have to get in front of everyone and yell. Motorcycle are fun! Harleys the brand! Manchester harley is the place! It is easy to buy! We want your trade! The time is now! Kings of the world on three! One! Two! Three! And that's every morning. On top of that your belittled infront of the others for your morning training when they ask you a question and you respond with something they don't agree with. The hardest part of working at manchester harley is the gossip and everyone is Two faced. One second there telling you that you did good and when you step out of the room there calling you ignorant and putting you down. Rumors will be spread about you and if you don't go the extra mile to do something for others and earn yourself a "care" they don't "care" to have you around. I will say it is not all bad here on top off all that they do pay you 1800 a month. The only problem is the management plays favorites and if your not his favorite you may end up owing the company money because if you don't sale enough bikes you have to pay a draw and it's easy to dig yourself in a hole. They do have free hot dogs or pizza in the end of the month so try to enjoy that after working 45+ hours -

Short breaks, 45+hours a week, last day of the month and the day before are mandatory, management plays favorite to there 1 or 2 that they like, minimal pay that you have to pay back so you end up earning no money.

Fun people

The pay was pretty low but the people you work with and most of the customers were pretty great. Definitely felt like a family. Lots of after work activities i.e. cook outs, bar hoping, birthday gatherings.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Distracted and mismanaged with management promoted to another level of ignorance just due to seniority not relevant job experience for their position.What is a typical day like for you at the company?30% damage control due to leadership mismanagement and bad communication, 10% travel, 60% actual work daily.

Corporate takeover of a once family owned businesses has made it tougher on employees and customers . They don't do anything to bring in new customers.

The Work culture is great. Great management Team. This company goes out of there way to help you grow and achieve your goals. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to excel and reach your full potential. Structure and fun is the name of the game here. Terrible Management

I enjoyed the job but the GM was the most out of touch boss I have ever seen. They expect you to do everything while not getting a decent wage. Everyone I worked with were great people. They were all miserable with their own jobs.

Good people. Room from growth and career advancement. Great benefits and perks including and employee store offering discounts on HD gear. Rewarding work building great motorcycles that are an American Icon.

Great place to work, fast pace. Customers can be rough but overall great place to work. Alot of hours spent working there. Big company and a lot of training videos

Fun place to work. it felt like family working there. There are Opportunities for training and advancement in your career. You can work in different parts for the manufacturing process to build a great resume.

Flexible Environment

They allow a very flexible WFH schedule when possible. Very knowledgeable co workers who are happy to help when needed. Sometimes management can be lacking direction.
