Unstable hours

It's a cool place to work but i never got stable hours, I would always be sent home early or have hours cut. Everything else is fine with the place though, I have fun when I do work most of the time.

The job itself was easy, the coworkers were the best but management did me very wrong at one of my most vulnerable moments and I just couldn't stand for it

Great place

Worked there for 2 years it was great and the people were cool. It was fun working the drive thru at night making all the orders fresh and helping people

It’s okay

Recommended to high school kids. Like any other fast food job it just depends how well you get along with your manager to get your desired schedule, it was pretty easy but annojing

Great place

Loved it, great work place. Everybody is nice and caring. Managers taught and communicated well. Very clean environment. By far the best place I have worked.

Fun and energetic

I really enjoyed my time working at Jack in the Box, even though it was short. Manager is great and the assistant managers too. Excellent co-workers as well, overall the atmosphere was good. Only wish hours given weren't so few, other than that can't say anything bad about it.

A good experience for first job

Pros: Easy work, decent promotion opportunities, negotiable work schedule, employee discounts. Cons: Minimum wage pay, poor management, can be hectic during rush times.

Not bad for first job

Easy and fair pay based on standing most the time. Not too hard for anyone starting out or for just something easy and just sit there. Management will never be good but it’s a jack in the box

Good crew... and that's about it

The managers and my fellow team members are all solid people to know and work with, but every other aspect of working here ranges from decent to flat out awful.The biggest issue is understaffing. Don't expect to work with more than five people on day shift OR night shift, breaks are practically nonexistent for anyone except the managers. It's frustrating because this job is pretty easy, but for some reason, management acts like they're too good to bother hiring people. And God FORBID you have to work six days a week.Thankfully my store's location is nowhere near as busy as it could be, but if you're not someone that likes the idea of working 12 hour shifts on holidays where every other restaurant around you is closed, avoid Jack in the Box like the plague.

Extremely stressful

Greet crew sometimesNo stable management General Manager bare minimum effort Expectations are high Overwhelmed (most than what a fast food restaurant is required)Low pay for the employees no chances for raises Broken equipment gets replaced until a month mostly likely longer No team effort

fun place

great placew to work, the best managment, she work with my school schedulethe only problem here is working graveyard.because we open 24 hoursbut is fun because we clean all night long and the time goes fast

Fun and fast paced.

Very easy to learn and master each position. Everyone I encountered while employeed was very kind and helpful. Training is good. Not the busiest fast food so it is fairly easy.

was an easygoing work environment

the only reason i took away a star was because one of the shift leaders wont let you leave at your designated time. even when youve done everything you need to, that one particular person would just give you task after task. had a coworker get stuck there until well after midnight. their our shift for the night ended at 10-10:30

Overwhelmed employees

This company pays little of nothing and works you to the bone.unless youre addamat that you won't or can't cover exyra shifts ,they will leave you alone to covet all shifts .I've worked 20 hours no joke ,in one day many times not just once or twice

fun but no opportunity

it’s fun to learn with all of your coworkers, but there isn’t much opportunity for growth. Once you get to the team leader position, (which is a 1$ bonus pay) there isn’t much else to go with out devoting 10+ years to become an assistant manager.

Good customer get what they paid for I don't know any bad standouts about this company

Taking orders. Preparing food counting money giving Change to customers refunds, accepting coupons. stalking food products cleaning working stations. The most enjoyable part is seeing a satisfied customer and see my paycheck

great first job / understaffed during weekend nights

great first job , you do get a lot of mouthy customers but for the most part the team leaders will help de-escalate bad situations. you get rushed to keep the drive through timer as low as the manager wants it. weekend nights are very understaffed and no matter how much we asked for at least one more person to help in the drive through , management would keep only three people for the night
