Its a fun job, I can honestly say it is about what you would expect. Okay pay but cool coworkers among other things. Just your typical job in the fast food industry.

Awesome

Great place to work, good money for a college kid. Room to grow if wanted to. Fast paced, fun, and can be competitive which some people (like me) need in a job. I’ll always look back fondly on my Jimmy John’s days.

Poor pay

Very easy job that anyone can do. That being said management is always changing, and pay is horrible. I personally have a millionaire owner who lives an extravagant life, but low balls every employee on salary.

Delivery driving

You deliver sandwiches and help out in the store. Other employees are nice. With tips the pay is ok unless you get stuck at a store with no deliveries.

Easy going

Pretty good place to work made $100 in 4 hours you can make more if you put in more. Always busy and decent people behind the counter you can have some good times

Fun team, easy job, good tips

Working here is great. Very easy, entry level job. Tips are good and you get paid minimum wage or above on top of it. Driving is fun too because you get to listen to music in your car. Absolutely loved working here.

A lot of Fun coworkers that make the day go faster

Most people who work at this Jimmy John's are very fun and easy to work with, as long as you are willing to work. In shop management is nice and friendly, area manager on the other hand could loosen up some (but that's always expected in fast food).

Easy job, Get free food

This job is fairly good. Not very well for part-time employees who are overworked and will most likely be delivery drivers with the least amount of pay. Overall it’s a decent job to start with.

terrible pay and terrible experience

my manager, specifically, took half if not most of the "delivery tip" for catering orders because they believe they did most of the work. also took almost all the pick-up order tips as well as in-shop tips. always complained about his salary.as a delivery driver, it's the worst. car deteriorates, gas barely reimbursed but expect super fast times in a local area which burns a lot more gas. expected to know and help out in shop although I was delivery driver. forced me to clock out but expects me to make sandwiches if a customer is there. the only enjoyable part of it was the random big tips and couple other co-workers who were a joy to work with.

Easy job

Made and delivered sandwiches, understanding bosses. Overall good workplace with the ability to make a good amount of money through tips. Got paid mileage for driving.

I delivered sandwiches and kept the restaurant clean.

Arrive. Clock in. Put the sign on the roof of the car. Wait for an order. Put sandwiches in bags. Gather drinks and chips. Look at the map on the computer. Accept the order on the computer. Leave the restaurant and drive to the location. Deliver the sandwiches. Take money and give change if it was a cash order. Return to the restaurant. Clock in on the computer. Repeat. When not driving, restock the chips and cookies on the shelves, sweep the floor, clean the tables, clean the bathroom, refill the ice machine, clean kitchen items. That is the job of delivery driver. Most drivers were friendly to each other. The district manager was mean if everybody wasn't doing something; even if there were no deliveries to be made. The hardest part of the job was avoiding the district manager. The best part of the job was collecting the cash for the credit card tips and mileage at the end of every day. They should allow motorcyclists to deliver in all parts of the country.

It's alright

They're easy to get hired at, and have had nearly no bad experiences with other employees , I love my coworkers.Workload is pretty manageable, nights usually are pretty dead and mornings are fine with good management and prep.only negative is pretty low pay, and its not easy to get full 40hrs

It was fun

I made a decent amount of money as a driver. I believe the pay has gone down a bit since, but I enjoyed my job. There were a few managers who weren't great at management, but luckily the owner always addressed such things & didn't automatically side with management.

Good experience and good first job

Good experience and good first job. Management was usually friendly and helpful. Delivery system was occasionally frustrating for drivers and customers.

Not a very welcoming environment extremely low consideration to employees requesting off as well as calling in for medical reasons involving family or close friend's.

prepared to get fired fast

i was fired in 5 days because i didnt memorize menu of over 10-20 sandwiches, with very little training. i was given the option to quit or be fired. oracle/wetmore. the shift mnger/area mnger firing team

Overall an easy job that anyone can do.

The job itself is decent. The tips make the low hourly pay worth it. My one complaint is a manager who was such a bully and made several people quit within the first few weeks of working there.

Pretty much what you would expect

Pay was decent after tips, delivery radius is small so you won't burn through too much gas. Management is alright, there was always drama between co workers but nothing worth not working the job over.

Great place to work BUT the higher ups need to work a couple days as a grunt

The higher ups have no idea how long the tasks they give the grunts take along with the obvious lack of communication and efficiency and ergonomics of a kitchen all for the lack of branding They treat the restaurant as a 5 star dining experience but it’s a fast food joint very few people will care if their bag is stapled shut or if their bag of chips is facing outwards if they even notice in the first place The higher ups will implement a new rule to “fix” x y or z but will then not care two days later
