The people at niagara bloomfield are really friendly and easy to talk to people, It was easy to fit in and everyone was willing to teach you what they knew.

Productive but strict and inconsiderate

This was a good job to have and the pay was fair. Good amount of off days. The management can be inconsiderate to life issues or small problems that come up in your everyday life but other than that , it was ok.

Poor work quality of life

this place is hard to work for and the managers do not put much care in your work life. No room to move up. they make bottled water for lots of local companies.

Toxic environment. Bad air quality. Low pay

I worked here for 4 years. It has toxic work environment due to poor management who do nothing to help their operators. They literally run you into the ground with mandatory OT. They have a lot of trouble keeping good workers because of the lack of training. They sometimes only have one operator on a line producing 500,000 plus bottles a shift. 401k is one of the worse I've seen. Air quality is horrible. They shut the exhaust ventilation off when it rains, making super hot and humid in the production area. Plus when the ventilation is off , it makes it hard to breathe. OSHA would have field day there

Chaos chaos chaos

This place is run terribly by some of the most incompetent people who call themselves management I've ever come across. The is constant chaos amongst all and the communication is next to none.

Great Culture

The people there are really great! I like that at the end there is a formal feedback session with your manager to learn about what you did well and what you could improve on. The managers are all supportive of my growth and I felt very supported throughout the internship.

Lead like an owner

Pros are the company pays above average for the area and good benefits. Cons ..they expect to much with a limited staff. No hands on training . If you wanted to lead like an owner you’d have to be there many years to understand all the various programs. Too many to count. Making it much more difficult than it needs to be. It’s Water! Upper management does not respect employees and talks behind backs. Typical. If your not in the click don’t expect to be valued for your hard work or your opinion heard. But if you are in the click and hang out with upper management outside work, you can mess up and still be put on a pedastle. Even though that person is the common denominator of problems.. Sad that upper management like there ego stroked and only care about looking good themselves. Seems they order lunch everyday and the rest of the team gets their scraps. So good luck trying to lead like an owner and be part of a team. Ha!

the communication in Warehouse

Overall the company is good an a great place to be. Communication in Safety Meetings, Town Hall meetings and Quarterly meetings were outstanding. But when it came to our leadership communication Meeting over the last 6 to 7 months was terrible when it came to the Supervisor and Manger in the area. When you text them, call them over even E-Mail them nothing would be answered. This was either equipment that was needed for the job (Radios/Batteries/computers) or situation that needed attention from a higher up source. you could not change days off with another employee unless you had their permission. when you gave a 72 hr notice you still didn't hear anything back. We lost a few good employees because of the lack of communication from them both. they were promoted to the positions because of their time with the company but as far as training in those roles they needed plenty of training in areas. When I 1st got there the Warehouse was top notch when I left the department became a revolving door. Much of the leads have left

Great place to wrk. Could be overwhelming at time due to communication with management. Overall a great company to work for. Has its ups and downs like any other company.

Place is not what it seems

Do not come here if you expect to do maintenance, maintenance techs are operators plain and simple. Pay is great, but you work as an operator in a sweat shop. The leadership has no idea what they are doing, they do anything for production and never stand up for maintenance, while everything is maintenance’s fault. They don’t seem to understand that constantly changing a machine makes it run differently, or running equipment in 110 degree buildings with hardly any cooling for that machine makes them run badly also, not to mention people work better when they aren’t dying in the heat with drink more water being your only option, but you better not leave your work area!!! Yeah this place is not what they advertised and because of weak leadership one manager runs everyone other manager over and what he wants goes. I could go on and on, but the big issue is there is no true support on the equipment, the companies that made the equipment don’t know what’s wrong with it and can’t teach how to fix it either. There is no hope here, you get paid well to struggle almost everyday you work with no plan insight, so if you like pushing HMI buttons and doing production work this is your place, but if you want to do maintenance this isn’t it.

Management is a joke

12 hour shifts with continuous short staff and non existent leadership because their too busy smoking, running personal errands, sitting at a desk talking or playing on the computer and blaming the operators for their lack of leadership. Plus you can't drink water on your 12:hour shift unless you walk all the way to a water fountain with warm water nowhere near your work area risking alarms going off on machines your responsible for. You are set up to fail. Management needs a clean sweep starting at the top down. Strong leadership skills much needed.

RUN!! The absolute worse management team I've seen in my career

Niagara has the highest turnover rate that I've seen throughout my career. The managers are the absolute worst & are very untrustworthy people. You are expected to work a 12 to 13 hour shift with 2/15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. During those times you are expected to use the facilities, hydrate and eat whatever lunch you brought since there is no restaurants nearby and if you attempt to step off the floor or do anything more than that, you'll more than likely be written up and or terminated. As a current employee and Line Technician I'm not only expected to do my job but I'm also obligated to do the operators job which is to operate the block, fix break downs on the block, as well and break out the operating team while they are on lunch and/or break while attending to downstream palletizing and wrapping module faults as well.Micromanagement is another thing that is also a big part of the culture here at Niagara. Run while you're ahead!

very fair management is bad sometimes can be very stressful don't feel really human there they talk about family reality its bad they need to work on this .

Great for someone that does not want to work much.

What is the best part of working at the company?Get cheap water and they have food for the plant like 2-3 times a month.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Long hours 5:45 pm to 6:00am,very boring job if that's what your looking for as a maintenance Technician. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?It's OK too me,but seems every other day someone is getting fired or walking out.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Very long,if your not on break you must be on the floor,no maintenance shop.

Do your work and you won’t have any problems

It’s pretty laid back, there are times when a lot is happening at once but it’s not commonplace and once you get the hang of it you’re not working hard.

Great place to work

Great people and atmosphere. A lot of opportunities for growth. Love the culture and engagement of team members. This is also one of the cleanest and safest places to work.

run run run, no excuses just run

Just very hot really hot ,highly segregated , cliquish, work long hours expected to be there morning noon and night.not a fun place to work but the pay is good.Don't believe the family hype.
