no advancement opportunity/poor raises

after a year and a half with the company, advancement opportunities that were promised were not followed thru on. Also, raises were very small. overall, good job, but not a place for a career

Busy

I worked at Panera before the change of locations so management may have changed, but I have heard pretty constant stories across others I have known that have worked there. They will put you anywhere regardless of training, not very understanding of how busy it really can get and at times very rude.

I don’t like it.

The job is stressful. A typical day is hard to describe because of the variation of guests that day but expect to stay late. I learned customer service. Management sucks. The managers get so stressed and refuse to help. The workplace culture is only somewhat okay because of the employees, who are all so kind. Hardest part is getting out of a closing shift at 11pm on a school night bc the managers don’t care. Most enjoyable is talking to friends!!

Fun place to work

I like the management and I like the perks such as switching roles between positions it made my time there go by quickly. Just make sure you’re careful around the soup tub!

Good Starter Job

Good place to work. There are some issues, but overall the hours and pay are good. I made $11-13 there across the years as a student and worked 35-40 hours consistently. Some of the people are great others not so much.

Ok

It is an ok place to work . With the buildings that have the dine-in and drive thru, you will most likely stay busy most of your shift. Plenty of positions to cross train in .

Unprofessional and unorganized management

The job it’s self was pretty easy but the management made it very hard to get your job done. Especially corporate, they were awful. The general manager didn’t know what was going on and refused to work night shifts so half of his employees never really interacted with him.

great first job

The general manager of this location is a wonderful first boss! This is ideal for any first-time employees, such as high school students. I learned so much about customer service.

Complete Joke

Was consistently asked to work well above my level while at the same time never being considered for a promotion(other employees were promoted seemingly at random). This was a few months ago at this point, so things very well may have changed, but I went through many employees and managers and nothing ever did while I was there.

Terrible

Exhausting work for minimum wage. Good for teenagers and people who refuse to grow up. Your day to day life will consist of weird hours, constant stress and overly complicated recipes.

Overworked and non professional environment

They will make you do the jobs of 3-4 people and didn’t not have professional and mature staff. There were times were myself and other co workers would have to calm the General Manager down from being overwhelmed. There also was favoritism in play. There was no room for grow from some individuals because they simply not liked. If you were favored, there was never any necessary action taken when workers were not fulfilling there daily duties and other had to carry their weight for them

My overall experience was great because I learned a lot about the company.

I worked here back in 2017-2018 and didn't have the best experience with it. Co-workers were great and easily the best part about working there. Genuinely wouldn't recommend.

Alright could have been better

It was average could have been better the employees were nice. The pay wasn’t good and the managers were a hit or miss. It’s a good starter job. Usually customer base was good.

Great place

I worked here for only a little while. Nice place with nice people. The work is sometimes a little exhausting, but besides that it’s a good place to work, especially in high school!

Alright job

This is a fun place to work with friends, but the pay isn't that great. The shifts are long, and people constantly leave, so coverage is often requested.

Friendly coworkers

The co-workers were amazing and trained you really well. The lunch rush can be very hectic, especially since it's in a teaching hospital. During lunch, all the workers and students flock there, so you need to be able to handle a high volume of orders.

Fun work place

Room for growth and a fun team, enjoy the vacation time the pay and the employees management can sometimes need to a little work or could give more support but overall good

I worked at Panera a while back ago. The coworkers and managers were nice, I enjoyed my time there. I now work in accounting so a different field entirely but if I wanted a part time gig I would consider going back.
