You get treated like horrible, management and supervisor are a joke, pay is horrible, they work you so much and don't appreciate you, you get harrassed everyday by the supervisor,. Superviser likes to harrass employees and she gets away with it
Working for Sodexo at the Airport was the BEST job I have ever had and experienced in my life. Although, due to transportation difficulties after being employed with Sodexo I was terminated but I learned a lot from the company. I've tried to apply again but the GM told me that I should just move forward even after I was told that I can try applying back with company and just may be able to work with Sodexo again but I can't believe I was turned down.
It is a vendor that sells its service mostly in schools, hospitals and
, universities. They put a lot of emphasis on employee safety. That is the reason they have a 5-minute safety meeting days before the shift starts.
Worked for the company four years and treated unfairly lack of communication and add duties to job with no money added transfer from Alabama to Jacksonville and that was double the work with little pay
Fun to work with , you incountered different kinds of people ,they treated there workers fairly, willing to listen what is your concern about your work .and it is a one of the biggest company .typical day @ work is always busy ,you can learn how to handle your co worker in terms of misunderstandings. The most enjoyable part of the is when having a potluck we ate together as a one family.
workplace is upbeat teaches safety to help protect the employees as well as the student in school on a daily basis maintain a clean environment for the visitor who hold event or do a tour of the establishment
Sodexo is a great company. There is a lot of potential to do many things with this company. If you are interested in joining this company, I think you will enjoy knowing that this company really understands it employees needs on an off the job.
Job was good, the management there was racist and unorganized.
No helpful resources to benefit the employees in everyday personal activities, no benefits given to employees when working at a facility; example: like free meal ticket twice a week for those who cant afford meals while working. Not fully able to express opinions or suggest ideas without feeling shunned or not worth listening to. Management in Sodexo as well as the union representatives themselves are not military veteran friendly but they are NOT employee friendly at all when it comes to meetings and disciplinary actions.
There management is horrible and the communication with the employees are never correct also they give the employees who does less work gets more praise and its sad. This is not a company that allows you to move up in management and I will never work here again !!!!!
It works if you don't have any other ambitions and just looking for quick money. The pay is good. The work wears on your body (I now have a bum knee). Management never or hardly ever worked in your position and likes to tell you what to do.
SODEXO seems like a company with good intentions but it has management that doesn’t do their jobs. You only get recognized when you do something wrong and never for something you do correctly. Workers who don’t actually work aren’t fired or written up. If you want to work somewhere you can work your butt off and be just as appreciated as the person who doesn’t do their job at all, this is the place for you!
Very hypocritical when it coming to benefits. You work full time hours but are considered part time status!! Over worked and under paid!!! Management doesn’t care about employees when sick or have emergencies they just care about writing employees up for calling out!
