Sodexo magic is a wonderful company to work for the staff is wonderful but the pay is bad as a floor tech we dont see the money that a floor tech gets and when new hire comes in they making what you makes or more
This job is a joke there is so much drama and if someone dont like you they find a way to get you out. they have poor management that dont take care of issues that come there way .They let employees that are there favorites do what they want and no work while expect others to pickl up their slack for not doing there job
I enjoy going to work on a daily basis working at grady you meet a lot of people and friends, when I started working there I didn't no anything about floor it took me few weeks and in a few months I was consider one of the best. The hardest part of my job is striping a with patients on.
Sodexo had to have been one of the best experiences I have ever had at a job, overall just plenty of work to do and so many friendly staff members. Many supported you in any issues you had getting to and from the hospital. I was put into many different areas to work at with, and not a single area they were unsatisfied with.
discounted lunch, friendly people.
I worked Graveyard, took a lot out of me, such a different schedule
I have to say for this to be a big multi dollar company they treat their employees pretty rightly at least where I used to work at they give you benefits that you're basically paying for but they're good they give you life insurance on them and they give you uniforms it had a lot of fringe benefits to for where I was working at so I have to say cidesco is one of the better companies that's out there
I worked for sodexo for 3 years at the location I was at then got promoted to a floor care technician just to have my job eliminated 6 months after switching to it. They have a high turnover rate for 2nd shift and they over work their 1st shift people by not having enough of them there is a 30 person team for nights and only 5 people on days. I'm glad not to be under so much stress anymore.
Sodexo is a good company to for. One thing can say it depends on which site ur working at nd the managers. Sodexo work place can be a easy going environment, but wen it comes to the managers they make the job hard
I worked here for about five years and first thing Sodexo did when they took over were cut backs. Cheap supply, cheap equipment, and cut our staff by half.
The management system sucks, no sense of leadership, no communication among management themselves. You don’t really have a voice. If something is wrong with ur area or department, their answer to everything is change the break schedule. They take supply from our contract to other contracts they have so we are almost short every day. They hire supervisor or managers without experience in a hospital facility so you literally have a superior who knows nothing but to watch your every movement. Worse company I have ever worked for and I kept an open mind for the first 3 years.
No job here is bad. Some have to work more than others depending on their job.
If you come in, and do the job they pay you for without whining, causing drama, or just being lazy then you have a good job with benefits. I have fellow employees that has been here for over 30 years! A few too! So that shows you right there how stable it is. WE ARE IN GREAT NEED OF GOOD PEOPLE WHO CARE, AND THAT HAS MANNERS!!!!.
Come to work with us.
Room to grow
There is still a few of fellow employees without manners and are an embaressment to the company
I love the job that I do, but sometimes if you don't have the right management. It will make your job stressful and it doesn't have to be. I have been doing floors and EVS for about 8 years and I enjoy it. A typical day at work for me was going into work greeted by my co-workers like family and us working together to get the job done and enjoying it.
Sodexo was a nice company to work for. Great benefits, however the job is unorganized. I loved the staff and learning new things. In all the experience was worth while, I'll definitely be here for a while
